Newsletters and snack calendars will be sent home each month in your child's folder, put on the website, and shared on Bloomz with learning topics and important dates.

Your child will have a daily behavior sheet in his/her folder that needs to be signed daily.

About Me

I have been in education for 21 years. I taught in McDuffie County for 17 years in 1st grade, 2nd grade, and as an EIP teacher. I came to North Harlem in 2018 and have been teaching Pre-K for 4years. Pre-K is my favorite by far of all the grades I taught!!

I am a 1997 Thomson High graduate and have a BS degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College in Milledgeville in 2001.

I have been married since 2002 to Clint Borders. We have 2 children: Jackson, an 8th grader, and Abbie, a 4th grader. We also have several pets: 2 dogs, 3 cats, a rabbit, fish, ducks, and hermit crabs. We also enjoy spoiling my dad's horses and baby mule that live in our front yard.

I love reading, growing flowers, and spending time with my family and extended family. I am a member of Marshall Baptist Church where I serve as nursery director, a preschool Sunday School teacher, and a Cubbies leader in AWANA.
