NHE Run Club
  • Sponsor: Brianna Hines
  • Purpose/Mission: To provide a supportive environment where students of all abilities can challenge themselves, achieve personal goals, and experience the joy of running, while promoting positive values of sportsmanship, effort, and respect.

NHE Greenpower Team 
  • Sponsor: Amber Lazenby
  • Purpose/mission: To advance the understanding of STEM topics and inspire innovation in young people through the immersive experience of designing, building, and racing electric-powered vehicles.

NHE Chorus
  • Sponsor: Lauren Stitcher
  • Purpose/mission: To enrich musical learning for 4th and 5th graders through singing, movement and creative expression and to strengthen community relations by performing for our school and community
  • Meeting Days/Times: 5th grade meets on Tuesdays from 8:00am-8:30am; 4th grade meets on Thursdays from 8:00am-8:30am
  • Meetings begin: 5th grade (TBD) and 4th grade (TBD)

NHE Safety Patrol
  • Sponsor: Renee' Owen & Aaron Forney
  • Purpose/mission: Fifth grade students have the opportunity to serve the school by assisting students during car line drop off and pick up, remind students of PBIS in the hallways, and help in PK and K classes in the afternoon with bus riders. They will be instructed in safety and assisting other students as they leave or get into cars, walking in the hallway, and assisting in the classrooms. 
  • Meeting Days/Times: Students report daily to their am (8:10am-8:35am) duty or pm (3:35pm - 4:05pm) duty

WNHE News Teams
  • Sponsor: Tori Sutton
  • Purpose/mission: To present daily news and information to the staff and student body of NHE, building character and confidence in our news team members.
  • Applications are due on TBD.
  • Meeting Days/Times: Team members report to the Learning Commons by 8:35 am each day. Teams rotate throughout the school year.
