If your child is here ALL day (8:40am - 3:40pm) and EVERY day for the second nine weeks, they will receive a popcorn and soda celebration on January 9, 2026!

Our Veterans Day celebration will be on November 7, 2025. Our 2nd graders will be performing. PreK, 3rd grade and 5th grade will celebrate at 9:30am, and Kindergarten, 1st grade and 4th grade will celebrate at 1:45pm. The performance will be in the cafeteria, and a reception will be held in the gym after each performance to honor our veterans and their families.

Tuesday, October 21st is our Falling Into Math Night! Our annual Title 1 and PTO meeting will be held in the cafeteria from 5:30pm - 5:45pmm and then explore math concepts through fun fall themed activities with your child's grade level from 5:45pm - 6:45pm. We hope to see you at our Falling Into Math Night!

NHE is a proud recipient of a Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Grant for the 25-26 school year! All year long, our students will get the opportunity to learn about and try different fruits and vegetables.

NHE students have just finished taking the beginning of the year diagnostic. They have set Reading and Math goals. You are invited to attend a data chat, facilitated by your child, to learn about the goals they have set and how they are working towards them.
